September 11 attacks: A new clue questions the existence of a fifth plane involved in the tragedy

Nearly 22 years after the tragedy, the gray areas remain. On September 11, 2001, a terrorist attack, mainly targeting the Twin Towers in New York and the Pentagon, killed 2,977 people. The event will profoundly mark the country’s history and shake up its policies.

Years later, questions remain about the course of this terrible day, punctuated by several tragedies orchestrated by al-Qaeda.

The hypothesis of a fifth plane

On the eve of the broadcast on Fox News of a new documentary on September 11, 2001 dubbed “TMZ Investigates 9/11: The Fifth Plane”, testimonials have been aired from travelers who were present on a fifth plane suggesting that this device could be involved in the attack.

7 out of 7 report passenger testimonials indicating the presence of 4 suspicious travelers and clearly stressed. “We don’t want to eat, but leave as soon as possible,” they reportedly said. A second plane crashes into the Twin Towers on takeoff, the plane doesn’t leave the tarmac.

When the passengers have disembarked and the canceled flight, 2 men in uniform would have crossed the runway in the direction of the aircraft, a little later security officers would have found the luggage hold open. In the hypothesis of the witnesses, someone would have tried to make disappear from the evidence.

Hidden cutters

The airplane pilot, Tom Mannello, gives some details about the circumstances of this false start. Two stanley knives in particular were hidden in the first class. For him, the author of this aborted attack was on the wrong plane, unlike a number of other flights targeted that day.

A cleaner or someone responsible for bringing food on board has easy access. It is quite possible that such a person made a mistake and set the knives on the wrong plane. I therefore consider it likely that the terrorists also wanted to use our aircraft as a weapon of mass destruction

For a flight attendant working on this flight, the United 23 should have been the fifth plane. Over there FBI interviewed staff and escorted crew members in vans. They were asked to recognize the suspects on board the aircraft.

Despite these testimonials, it is only a hypothesis. For its part, the official report of the 9/11 commission never listed the United 23 as one of the targeted devices.
